Assembly Instructions

Our assembly process is easy and time-efficient thanks in part to its industry-leading design! In fact, all the instructions are visual-based, allowing you to follow each step along the journey towards a finished chair. The assembly starts with the creation of the seatback using individual slats and a series of bracers to keep them together. Afterwards, the chair base itself is put together, involving the attachment of slats to three pieces that form the edges and maintain the chair’s shape. Next comes the chair legs, affixed to the base, followed by the installation of the armrests. The last step involves adding the assembled seatback to the base, completing the build of your beautiful new foldable Adirondack chair. Need more information? Frequently Asked Questions

Adirondack chairs are a comfortable, roomy form of outdoor lounge seating with an iconic design typology. With a sloped or flat seat (depending on the model), a tall, slatted back and wide armrests, they are available from The Best Adirondack Chair Company in a wide variety of sizes including the Classic (smallest) and the Grand (the largest seat area with the highest weight tolerance).

Adirondack chairs were first created back in 1903, named after the majestic Adirondack Mountain range in the state of New York. They are occasionally marketed as Muskoka chairs, especially in North America , though the design actually originates from the United States and differs slightly. The Adirondack is exceptional comfort – perfect with your favorite cold drink and a meal from the grill thanks to the wide armrests – along with their long-lasting design and build quality are what make them such a popular choice. Plus, they’re super easy to maintain!

When ordering your chair from us, you have plenty of choices. Not only can you customize a modern Adirondack chair in one of several overall designs, from recliners to the Grand and more, but you also have a choice between durable, high-quality wood species or 100-percent recycled plastic (known as Poly-Luxe).

You can’t go wrong with either option thanks to our commitment to top-notch materials and service. That said, it’s a good idea to consider the type of environment in which you wish to use your beautiful new Adirondack chair. Some woods withstand moisture better than others, for instance. Regardless of your choice, our team is here to help you extend your chair’s lifespan and even further minimize maintenance. Depending on your style preference, you may be interested in our black or white Poly-Luxe chairs, and there are plenty more vibrant colors to choose from!

Very! You might not want to leave yours, and that’s due to its ideal lounging height, spacious armrests, and ample back support thanks to the tall slats. Contrary to other models, our chairs are easy to get in and out of. Whether poolside, on the patio or even on the road in a collapsible design, there’s something for everyone. You’re certain to find an ideal seating solution for almost any outdoor space.

Yes – at least, all our folding adirondack chairs certainly are! In fact, with our double chair design, The Best Adirondack Chair Company is the only company offering a folding Adirondack Tete-a-Tete that locks into the upright position, making your travel experience that much smoother wherever you decide to set up and unwind. Single-seater chairs are just as easy to fold up, store, and relocate as needed.

All you need is soap and water – no, seriously! We recommend cleaning your chair every few weeks when in use, and repainting/re-staining as needed (this is generally every few years) unless you prefer to go with a faded look over time.
