Clear Cedar
Prefer a modern, clean appearance but still interested in outdoor furniture made with real wood? Consider our clear cedar, free of knots and burls for optimal smoothness and minimalism. Clear cedar is derived from heartwood – the core of the tree – and is therefore highly resilient to pests, moisture, and other unwanted issues. This is elevated even further if you choose our staining option when ordering, of which an exclusive caramel color is available for clear cedar only due to its natural appearance. Knotted Cedar
If you’re into unique patterning and a traditional, natural look, our knotted cedar is a great alternative. It’s visually striking with a slight grain and slightly more coarse texture, and no two products are the same as a result.
Pine
Pine, like all wood species we use in our products, is responsibly source from FSC certified suppliers. Therefore, two trees are planted for each one consumed for production purposes. Pine closely resembles knotted cedarwood but, due to its commonality, can be a more cost-effective option. Bear in mind that for optimal longevity and moisture resistance, due to pine’s more porous nature, it is recommended to order with our dedicated staining treatment option.
Brazilian Walnut (IPE)
IPE is naturally moisture and rot resistant due to its hardiness, and it’s one of the strongest woods around! This makes it an ideal solution for inclement weather conditions, and a stain isn’t required to maximize longevity. It also can develop a stunning silvery patina over the years if you decide to not stain it.
Poly-Luxe Synthetic Lumber
Poly-Luxe consists entirely of recycled consumer plastics diverted away from landfills. This material requires next to no maintenance aside from washing it down every few weeks – you don’t even need to bring it inside for the winter! Our Poly-Luxe Adirondack chair sets are available in vibrant colors or more neutral shades such as white and black. Or, alternatively, consider our woodgrain versions that look and feel like the real thing.
